A YouTube Music Android app like the Google Photos Android app on Chromebooks would be pretty sweet

If the Google Photos Android app on Chrome OS is any indication of Android apps future on Chromebooks I would say things are trending in the right direction. The Google Photos app just about mirrors what's available on the web except for some differences here and there. But the Android app of Google Photos offers offline support and you can even upload as well. Unfortunately, the Youtube Music app is a far cry from the Google Photos on capability and fit and finish. There is no uploading support and the only notable feature compared to the Youtube Music web app is the ability to cast on the Android app. In short, the YouTube Music Android app is an Android tablet that is not bad but is not quite ready for Chrome OS.

Google may have something if they can update the Youtube Music Android app to function as the Google Photos. But don't stop there, add this capability, look and feel to all of your first-party apps and set the standard for developers on the platform. Compose for Desktop is coming soon and should help with bringing desktop-like Android apps to the platform. Exciting times for us Chrome OS/Android fans.

JBL Live 670NC Review | JBLs latest mid tier headphones for 2024

About a week ago I purchased the JBL Live 670NCs and went in with no real expectations. I had experience with JBL headphones in the past but for some reason I went into this purchase with a blank slate. Off the back the 670NCs were very familiar to me. I owned the JBL Live 460NCs which are the predecessor to these and the design is nearly identical. I don't think this is a bad thing as I tend to like JBLs design language. The body is made of a light weight plastic but feels well made. The headband and side clamps feel like it could be made with metal as it feels strong and cool to the touch. I went with black and the finish is matte which is a nice touch. Fingerprints do appear on the headphones there just not as noticeable. The buttons on the right side of the ear cup are nice and click-y. Type C for charging is on the left side.  Now, lets get into the nitty gritty.  Sound This is very subjective but overall I like the sound the Live 670NCs produce. Bass is heavy while keeping a

JBL Live 670NC Review (video)

Check out my video review of the JBL Live 670NC. The headphones are really good but not perfect. In my video I cover it all from the design to the features and everything in between.

Pixelbook Go is no longer available on the Google Store

Google has finally done it and removed the Pixelbook Go from the Google Store. There was no formal announcement and one can only assume that the device that was originally released in 2019 is now discontinued. It's not clear what the future holds for the Pixelbook line but I really do hope there is another Google laptop in the pipeline. With no rumors to go off of that's all we really have right now, hope.
