Man oh man do I wish Fossil would have waited to launch the Fossil Gen 6 with Wear OS 3. Although the product is not bad by any means it's just not worth its current asking price of $300. Without giving it all away at once let's unpack the Fossil Gen 6. Design/Build The design is great. I like that Fossil typically puts stainless steel in its smartwatch products and the Gen 6 is no different. The outer edge of the bezel is jagged but looks subtle. The Gens 6 itself is not thick and it does have a little heft to it compared to my Fossil Gen 5. This heft adds to the premium look and feel. On the bottom where the sensors are housed, there is one additional sensor. Probably for the Blood Oxygen readings. Processor We have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100+. This chip enables speedy performance but not all that faster than my Gen 5. I noticed that apps do, however, download much faster. Since there is no Pixel Watch I went with the Fossil Gen 6 knowing there were some positives and one huge drawback. It's running Google's Wear OS 2. To be honest, it was a tough sell for me knowing there is a newer version of Wear OS already out there. The fortunate thing is that it will see Wear OS 3 in a future update just not for months which does suck. In the meantime, there is the new Youtube Music app and Gboard we can play with for now. We are officially in Pixel season with the October 19th event right around the corner. We'll see the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro but what else will we see. Check out the video for more.

Google released Chrome OS 94 on Thursday, October 14th. Gone are the every six-week updates with the move to a monthly cadence starting with Chrome OS 96 in December. This is not the most feature-rich update Google has had to date but there are some things worth checking out. Hopefully, Google is setting us up for a big update later this year as we are still waiting on features like Android 11 and the Google Photos integration with Phone Hub. Chrome OS 94 includes new accessibility features with Select to Speak, improvements to the native Screen Recorder, and more.

  I recently purchased the JBL Live 460NC to compare against my current favorite on-ear headphones the JBL 700BT. Although I like the JBL Live 460NCs don't buy them for the noise cancellation. There are plenty of other features these headphones offer that make them compelling. Check out the video below. When Google first announced the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro I thought for sure I was going to go with the Pixel 6 just based on size alone but that was until I got my hand on these cases. I tend to favor smaller Pixel's because of the ease of use and the pocketability. This year I think I am going to step out of my comfort zone and get the 6 Pro.  Some pics... And a video...

  Last week, Google announced that a firmware update was on its way to your Pixel Buds A-Series earbuds. Today, I received said update and decided to use the manual method since it's a new feature for the earbuds.  Once your Pixel Buds A are ready to update to the new firmware you will be greeted with a notification. Selecting the notification will bring you to the above image.  Pressing Start will send you to the above-pictured screen reminding you to ensure to snap in your earbuds and keep your case open. The light will be on during the update. Selecting Got it will start the download and then will install. I noticed that the light on the case blinked white and orange during the download. Turned white during the installation and the light turned off about halfway through the process. Updating the earbuds was fairly smooth but not without its faults. The update did complete for me but I was still provided with the above message. I double-checked in settings and... Voila... There
